Monday
98 pages of World Running Down by Al Hess
Work from home day! Plenty of time for reading.

Tuesday
42 pages of World Running Down (finished) and 41 pages of Rakesfall by Vajra Chandrasekera
Another work from home day! I finished World Running Down after midnight but before sleeping, and then Rakesfall was my daytime book.

Wednesday
20 pages of Rakesfall
This is an office day so I read a bit on the train.

Thursday
30 pages of Rakesfall
Another office day, but I had a liiittle bit more time for reading.

Friday
17 pages of Rakesfall
I spent a lot of my work from home time on this day writing rather than reading.

Saturday
91 pages of Rakesfall
Weekend! Also at this point the book had thoroughly landed itself as 'incredible' and I was excited to read more.

Sunday
105 pages of Rakesfall (finished)
Had lots of time for reading today due to some train travel going very wrong. Rakesfall was still incredible and I had to finish it before I went to bed even though I was really tired in the evening.

Summary
403 pages
2 books
9 day streak

comments

Monday
0 pages
Wasn't really feeling reading today even though I had time and energy.

Tuesday
0 pages
This was a busy day at work, because my job is a specific kind of bullshit. No reading today.

Wednesday
0 pages
Recovering from what can only be described as a work bullshit hangover. No reading!

Thursday
0 pages
I mostly played Wildfrost in my spare time today, so no reading.

Friday
0 pages
Same as above. You may be seeing a pattern here lmao.

Saturday
66 pages of World Running Down by Al Hess
Wasn't impressed by the opening but the second POV (an AI forcibly placed in an android body) was a lot more interesting.

Sunday
106 pages of World Running Down by Al Hess
This one successfully grabbed me again with some interesting politics and then kind of lost me again. I was reading in public (at my local silent book club) so maybe I was distracted and missing stuff?

Summary
172 pages
1 book
2 day streak

comments
